Past & Present Work

Rooted in my classical art training and enriched through studies at UC Berkeley, this collection reflects my deep exploration of printmaking. Techniques in etching, lithograph, and monotype build upon a foundation of strong composition, texture, and layered color, offering a dynamic evolution of traditional skills.

Good advice I received from a professional artist was to paint what you know. Every day things I encounter become a source of inspiration for a painting. People, places, and things I see are the beginning of the composition and then the creative process takes over. 

 This collection is the result of time spent exploring abstract expressionism—a style that has helped me focus less on the subject and more on the act of creating. It has become an important part of how I develop my ideas and grow as an artist.
